Help me decide on a color scheme for my new bike

Hehe, I like the tyres and bottle holders at least :joy:

The tires should also be all black but I blew a rear sidewall on their 4th outing and I couldn’t mismatch so swapped on the panaracers.

Sorry to hear that, but at least it gives some shade to the bike

Are those 35mm wheels?

Confess am also a stealth fan. My bikes are all black, bar one which is raw Ti. I do have plans to paint my Singlocross hot glitter pink tho…

I don’t hate the tires but the next pair will be black. The tires and wheels were purchased for The Red Baron (who has since found another home)

The wheels are the Bontrager Aeolus Pro 37 (got a great deal on ‘em). The tires are 35mm Gravelking+ slicks and they measure at 37mm, making for a very comfy ride

Gravelking or Gravelking SK? In the plus version they are a great choice

The ones I’ve got are the Gravelking Plus Slicks, in 35mm. Essentially a file tread made for crappy roads. Panaracer has released brand new versions for 2024.

Mine are different than their Semi-slick SS or Small Knob SK.

Thanks for the clarification, Sir Glen. I’m on Maxxis Refuse which are a file type tread. They may get ridden soon as the big trail around here has some nice type 1 gravel.

Type 1 gravel is better than msny of the roads in our city :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

We are working on some major road improvements here. There’s an effort to get the road on Mount Lemmon completely repaved, in stages. Still there are some streets and roads that you need suspension for.
