Hi All, My wahoo kickr v6 power input cable was snapped. This happened during a move and the kickr was dropped as well. I did try to use a dc female connector but wouldn’t work. Now I’m not sure whether this is due to issue with power or some internal issue. We don’t have any repair shop in Australia who can look into it. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
So this is the pigtail with the connection to the power adapter that was snapped? Do you still have the cable after it snapped? If you do, and are handy (or have an electrician friend), that shouldn’t be a problem for you - I lost an adapter due to flooding and was able to rewire a (better) unit in place.
If you lost the pigtail itself, I’d suggest contacting Wahoo support direct - they might be able to get you a replacement tail that you (or someone) could rewire. Based on your photo, that shouldn’t be a difficult repair.
