The integration with Zwift mostly worked well. I tried it with my scheduled “Sub-threshold with surges 4x12” workout yesterday.
It was great to see the intervals in Zwift and the interval banners on the roads and the interval countdowns in Zwift (compared to running Zwift in parallel with Systm using ANT+ and Bluetooth sensors). Thank you - I will use this Zwift integration for the long Systm No Vid workouts.
However, you appear have integrated the outdoor version of the Systm workout with Zwift. And the outdoor version of the Systm workouts - in at least the “Sub-threshold with surges 4x12” workout - appear to have inconsistently different power targets to the indoor version for every interval. This turns the main part of this workout from sub-threshold to tempo and the recoveries from z2 to z1. I tried to adjust the workout back to sub-threshold by turning up the workout intensity in Zwift to 109 percent, but then the surges were well above target and the intervals were still in z1. It’s too hard to adjust the intensity in Zwift up or down for each interval. (Note my FTP was set the same in Zwift and Systm so this is not the issue).
To improve the integration with Zwift, could you please - for at least the long No Vid workouts where I think the integration is most valuable - consider either:
- Integrating Zwift with the indoor version of the Systm workout instead or the outdoor version, OR
- Adjusting the outdoor workouts to more closely match the indoor workouts (or at least being a consistent percentage different across all intervals)?
Thanks again for the Zwift integration. I hope you can make it even more valuable, especially for the long No Vid workouts, by considering the above options
