Incorrect power data on ELEMNT ROAM & Wahoo App (FIT data / Third-party apps are correct)

Hi everyone,

Is anyone else experiencing issues with their ELEMNT ROAM displaying power data incorrectly? It doesn’t happen on every ride, but it occurs sporadically.

When it happens, the 3s power randomly freezes on the display, and both the lap and overall average power are completely wrong—both live on the device and post-ride in the Wahoo App. The catch is that the .FIT file recording is actually fine. If I analyze the exact same ride on third-party platforms like Strava or Intervals.icu, the data is 100% correct. Wahoo just calculates and displays completely inaccurate average lap and overall numbers compared to the actual averages shown on those third-party platforms.

Does anyone else have this sporadic issue, or are there any known workarounds that fixed this for you?

I have a similar problem but not with power.

My SRAM AXS Eagle ebike pedal power comes through OK, recorded and real time display. The problem I have is with calories recorded. Wahoo App records ridiculous values like 4kcal on a 40 mile ride whilst SRAM data shows realistic value over 2000kcal.

Was the same with Bolt V2 and Roam 3. Using Wahoo Trackr heart monitor, accurate heart rate data, so why can’t Wahoo calculate?
