Both with the Speedmax CF8 as well with the CF7 I have issues with my Kickr 2017 as the cassette is not running smoothly if I tighten the thru axle.
The Kickr runs smoothly if I loosen the axle just a bit (less than a quarter turn) but then there is too much movement between the frame and the trainer. The kickr runs perfectly with my Endurance CF8 (quick release).
Is there a way to solve this issue? For example should I update my thru axle adapter to a newer version? Or do simple spacers exist which would make up for the approx 1mm difference between the frame and the Kickr?
Already asked Wahoo Support but of course they are not online in the weekend.
I have a video, but cannot add it
