Late chime - completed my challenge a month and a day ago. My goal was to suffer but not die, but also stay above an average of 70% intensity. I started out at 75% and was able to complete all but one at 75%. I dialed down Revolver because I just couldnât hit my cadence targets at 75%. As a âvalidationâ I did just finish my 4DP test, just now, and my MAP and FTP didnât budge, my AC went up slightly, but I did get a big bump on my NM of almost 12%. That is either a greater willingness to suffer or a sign of sandbagging. But the mid-70âs target was a significant suffering level for 10. for 12, thatâs just too painful to contemplate.
I think you should go for 100% and just accept it is impossible and that youâll crack several times during the course of the day. The idea is to suffer. I cracked 5 times in mine. These ideas of reducing the percentage just seem to be about trying to survive to the end without cracking.
