Morpheus (M7) x Wahoo Systm

Hey everyone,

I’m trying out the Morpheus ecosystem. I was mainly interested in their daily assessment of training readiness, where calculating it every day gives you an actual “FTP range”. Every day your “zone 2-3-4” might change a little bit based on recovery and training load. I’m trying to figure out a good way to use this with the Wahoo Systm concept. The only way i can see it working at the moment is to manually adjust the FTP ratings every morning before a training session (and not forget to reset after).

I reached out to Morpheus about synchronizing directly with Wahoo but its not in the cards at the moment (it would be cool if Morpheus would push the measured modification so that your training is automatically adjusted).

I was wondering if there were thoughts about this on here? any Morpheus Users?

For clarity, im a bit of a frankensteiner; I use a Jetblack training on Wahoo System, a Garmin 1030 computer and Garmin Connect for my main training tracking, previously using a Garmin HRM+ and now the Morpheus.

@Thisdale This tracks a bit with the concept of an eFTP. I personally wouldn’t bother making changes every day but do take the approach where if I have a bad nights sleep or lots of external stress I may vary my planned workout or slightly increase numbers outside of testing if I feel I have improved.

Wahoo seems to be heading in a similar direction with the DTL numbers in the Wahoo App.

i guess its close to the 4D stuff indeed. However these don’t update daily or as you progress your training. You kind of have to redo a ramp test or 4d test to get variation, which is not ideal when training.
