Problem installing Click V1 and V2 on Kickr V6 on Rouvy

Hi, Just joined the forum to see if anyone can help me with my set-up to use virtual gears instead of manual gears on my Kickr V6.

First of all I think it should be possible to set up the Click v1 (or V2) without fitting the Zwift cog as there are no electronics in the cog, so just using a mid cassette gear as the cog will save me a lot of hassle changing the bike and cog every time I attempt to get the system to work.

I’ve used the Kickr for six months using the hard wired option straight to the router without any problem. Bluetooth and Wifi both seem to be active also. It’s only when I try to setup the virtual gears that the problems start.

In the connected devices screen in Rouvy, everything is connected but the Click V1 (or V2) doesn’t stay connected, it drops out after a few seconds and the blue light goes off.

Can anyone please help?

It is correct you don’t need the Zwift cog to use virtual shifting. According to Rouvy should the Click v2 be compatible.

It has been a while since I have used Rouvy. Before Zwift took over Rouvy it was only possible to use virtual shifting through the companion app.

Many thanks,
Alex
