Running Cadence

Hi,
I’m new to wahoo and I’m using it exclusively for running. Cadence is one of the simpler issues I have with the app.

Firstly, why doesn’t the app use the onboard ‘physical activity’ sensors for cadence like most other running app’s do?

But it doesn’t so I use a zwift runpod for cadence (and speed/distance). But wahoo seems to divide my cadence by four and then double it  eg. If I’m running at say 180spm, it’s in the file as 45 and when I load it into strava or connect it doubles it to 90.

Now this isn’t such a big deal but I’d think it would be pretty easy to get it right
Is there some kinda setting I’ve missed somewhere?

For anyone who’s interested, I upgraded to a stryd pod and the results are as you’d expect. In the above example the file would store the cadence as 90 (one foot ) and then converted to 180 as expected by strava, garmin, etc.

So this is obviously something weird with the zwift runpod
