Two years ago, I set a Knighthood Quest as my goal to stay motivated for the indoor training season. I’ve described that first Quest as the most fun I’ve had not having fun.
I opted for a different endurance ride as my goal last year (which was also pleasantly miserable). But there’s no place like home, and I decided last fall to make a second Quest my goal this year.
And here we are. The indoor season is drawing to a close soon (at least, hopefully), and I’m going to go for it on March 21st.
My menu d’suffering is:
Blender
The Model
ISLAGIATT
14 Vise Grips
The Shovel
Nine Hammers
Clobber (R.I.P Cobbler)
HHNF
Team Scream
The Bat
I recently lost someone very important to me and he was a big supporter of the Special Olymipcs movement. If you felt so inclined, a donation to Special Olympics Alberta, or to your local Special Olympics society, would be much appreciated. Here’s a link to Special Olympics Alberta:
And my heart goes out to you with your recent loss.
We will be here (in spirit) to support your day of so much not fun fun while you crush those Couchlandrians. It will certainly be an epic day in the history of Sufferlandria!
That is an incredible goal to set for yourself again. The indoor season can definitely be a grind, but having a challenge like this keeps the focus sharp. Best of luck with the Quest on the 21st—it is a truly noble effort for a great cause!
