Second Knighthood Quest

Two years ago, I set a Knighthood Quest as my goal to stay motivated for the indoor training season. I’ve described that first Quest as the most fun I’ve had not having fun.

I opted for a different endurance ride as my goal last year (which was also pleasantly miserable). But there’s no place like home, and I decided last fall to make a second Quest my goal this year.

And here we are. The indoor season is drawing to a close soon (at least, hopefully), and I’m going to go for it on March 21st.

My menu d’suffering is:

  1. Blender

  2. The Model

  3. ISLAGIATT

  4. 14 Vise Grips

  5. The Shovel

  6. Nine Hammers

  7. Clobber (R.I.P Cobbler)

  8. HHNF

  9. Team Scream

  10. The Bat

I recently lost someone very important to me and he was a big supporter of the Special Olymipcs movement. If you felt so inclined, a donation to Special Olympics Alberta, or to your local Special Olympics society, would be much appreciated. Here’s a link to Special Olympics Alberta:

Should be good fun. I’ll keep you posted on the day.

Massive respect to you on your second quest, especially with such a strong selection of suffering! :flexed_biceps: That is a lot of endurance!

And my heart goes out to you with your recent loss. :mending_heart:

We will be here (in spirit) to support your day of so much not fun fun while you crush those Couchlandrians. It will certainly be an epic day in the history of Sufferlandria!

I’m sorry for your loss Sir Justin.

Your quest looks long and painful.. In other words, perfect!

Is there a specific region you would prefer supported in the Special Olympics page? It’s neat that they allow choosing an area within Alberta.

If you wanted to pick a region, Red Deer would be the one. But that said, any donation would be very kind and much appreciated. Thanks!

“Let me win. But if I cannot win, let me be brave in the attempt.”

Special Olympian mottoes aren’t that different from Sufferlandrian ones.

That’s quite the Suffer Plan. Onward!

That is an incredible goal to set for yourself again. The indoor season can definitely be a grind, but having a challenge like this keeps the focus sharp. Best of luck with the Quest on the 21st—it is a truly noble effort for a great cause!

And does this still seem like a good idea?

Your check marks are still recognizable and neatly in their boxes. Can’t wait to see how that goes after Nine Hammers
