Hello,
I bought I knew Kickr V6 trainer and wanted to use my cassette from Shimano (CS-R8101 12s).
Unfortunatelly it does not fit on the freehub. I cannot push the 11th and 12th chain wheel on it. Seems that the grooves do not fit anyhow.
Does anyone have the same experience. Is there any newer HG freehub which I can use?
Best regards,
Michael
Seems that the new shimano road cassettes only fit on the new HG spline L2. Has anyone experience with this new freehub?
The new Shimano 12sp Road cassettes (HG spline L2) is designed to backward compatible with HG Spline L.
where did you get those tables from they don’t agree with Shimano?

When you say the 11th and 12th sprockets don’t fit do you mean the largest or smallest?

Hello,
I have this table from the official Shimano Homepage:
https://productinfo.shimano.com/en/compatibility/C-454
Please see this screenshot! Here you can find it.
Where do you have the information from, that it is backward compatible?
Is there any HG spline L2 freehub which is compatible with the Kickr?
If not, which cassette does really fit on the HG L Freehub? I can remember that there was a 12 gear cassette with the kickr on the wahoo homepage. Do you know which one it was?
Best regards,
Michael
The 11th and 12th sprockets are the smallest ones (size 11 and 12).
Hello JGreenGrass,
indeed you were right. After trying again and again I was able to move the last sprockets on the freehub. It just went very very hard.
Best regards,
Michael
