Sufferlandrian National Team updates 2025

ATTENTION SUFFERLANDRIAN NATIONAL TEAM!

Because of your awesomeness and utter domination of the Tour leaderboard this year, the Davis Phinney Foundation is offering a special prize - a group ride for one stage with Team DPF and TDF yellow jersey wearer and :canada: Team 7-Eleven badass ALEX FREAKING STIEDA (@AlexStieda)!!!

From Lauren at DPF:

“Congratulations! The SUF National team is one of our team fundraising competition winners! I would like to offer you a chance to set a date and time to ride together as a team. While I’d be happy to arrange this for any time of your choosing, one of the highlights of our Zoom rides during the Tour is riding with Alex Stieda.”

So here’s the deal. We will be completing Stage 5 | Cash Register (natch!) AND Bavaria Burgberg with Team DPF and ALEX FREAKING STIEDA live via Zoom.

Here’s the bad news. Due to scheduling and availability, we’re scheduled to kick off at 5pm Mountain Time (US) on Thursday, the 27th.

For those who can make it, Zoom call sign-up info below. To participate you will need to signup for the call and be ready to hit the Start button for Cash Register promptly on the hour. Please have your setup ready to go and be logged into the call early so that we can be ready to go. Hope to see you Thursday!

On my calendar, Cash Register is first.
Do you mean Wahoo cannot even get the order right in all the schedules?

I mean, it makes more sense to ME to have Cash Register second, but you are correct, Sir. Fixed.

For me, Cash Register should be the last workout of the Tour.

Agreed. Let’s do it again at the end.

Thanks for sharing this, Cap’n Sir! What a great opportunity.

IKR? I rode a stage with Team DPF and Davis in a prior tour a couple years back. Was a good time!

I can make it! Very excited for my schedule to actually allow joining one of these for once! How cool

Based on past experience, I doubt I can do this because working out at 7PM EST means I will never get to sleep at a reasonable hour.

I’m thinking that if I can get to $500 in donations I will ride Cash Register 3 times in a row.

And if I get $1,000 in donations I will ride every current Sufferfest video in the month of April.

And if I can get $1,500… I’ll have to think about that…

How much are you in donations now?

Oh man, here it comes…

How is your current health status?

How many donations do you have now?

$220 at the moment.

Still questionable at the moment. But I have a couple appointments in March (including one next week) that should give me some answers. Swinging more and more towards long Covid.

And my fitness is improving bit by bit.

OK. I will get you up to 500 – when will you do Cash Register three times in a row?

Done. I had to do this twice, the first time I “under donated”. I must be learning math from a minion.

Hey, team, have you noticed this on the tour search page?

Do we have a mole in corporate HQ?

Donation in. Hope it shows up correctly.
