Noticed that the settings have MAP at 100% but FTP at 80%. Help me out Wahoo Science folks. Is this correct or did something get lost in translation from Sufferlandrian to English?

I also noticed this. It would make the ‘unders’ easier, so is maybe a reasonable adjustment.
Personally, based on how I’m feeling, I’ll most likely be reducing the MAP intensity as well when I get to this tomrrow.
Isn’t the whole session based on FTP though? The overs are a percentage of FTP and considered an FTP effort, not a MAP effort?
Nope - the yellow Over sections are based on your MAP values.
Right you are. I’m sure when I did it last week it was all blue… I mean, it’s been a fairly eye-bleeding last week so I could have been seeing things, but…

Yes I believe this was the case too. It’s definitely yellow now though!
I’m pretty sure that the special challenge of Model is due to inadequate recovery because the recovery intervals (at the beginning and end) are so close to threshhold. By reducing FTP, you’ll get more recovery and the intervals should be easier. So I think it makes sense.
So, it may make sense, but I’m not sure if it will GMTI. Time will tell. Not holding out a lot of hope and expecting to drop the whole thing down.
