The Wahooligan Tour STAGE 1: The Sufferfest - Cash Register + Revolver

Can confirm the goat suit had to be wrung out after Revolver!!!

The question is tho, should I wear it for stage 2?!? I will if my donation page hits $750 :astonished::woman_facepalming:t4::rofl:

Photo evidence for those who didn’t manage to jump onto Twitch. Sir Mike s the Prawn to Kill

Thank you @Natasha.R , @TrapMeSuf, @JSampson and J.Butts for joining us on RGT. Might have to switch it to open Mic for the next one. Thoughts?

@Natasha.R It was great riding with you. The SYSTM videos are certainly motivating but it is also great to be with a group too to share in the suffering. Apparently per @DameLisa it is 98% humidity in NZ right now so I can only imagine how much that would have changed my own experience.

Thank you @Natasha.R - yes it definitely helped Touring together!!

Hope to do some more Stages with RGT group Ride alongside SYSTM if the timings work.

Thanks to @DameLisa Lisa Dowson for setting those up!

That was good fun and very motivating.

Don’t think open mike works from my end, you really dont need my huffing and puffing broadcasted, haha!

After much back and forth, up and down, hin und her, I decided to compete again this year in the tour of sufferlandria!

I took a hiatus last year, but this year I am back!

Stage 1, part one done.

Time to do 15 revolver intervals…

And done!

Revolver is one of my favorite workouts. It’s really hard after Cash Register.

Stage 1 done!

Pure evil!

Stage 1 on day 2 of a 4 day Womadelaide Festival is doing wonders for my legs and energy levels.

Anyone else finish the warm up to Revolver and think "I’m just about done now… oh wait, I still have “15” efforts to go?

Time to ring that register.

Did Stage 1 here on Saturday, starting in the early window so I can go to a pub run Wednesday and doubling up on Thursday so I can finish Friday in time for Saturday’s pub run.
I’m using a Kurt Kinetic Road Machine, so the sprints in Cash Register were tough to do. Hard to hit such short (in time) targets
Revolver was better, the one minute longer intervals are less difficult to get to the power level and maintain.
I also really liked Revolver because it had CX and MTB, my two main disciplines. (What other videos have CX or MTB?) I also do ride road and gravel. Still have to try the track, but that’s a long drive to try and go to get certified.

C’est parti !

Which evil genius decided to put some of the sprints (and recovery) uphill in Cash Register?

A little late to the party, but I have a curious question since I just noticed that the stage 1 opened yesterday, 11th March and Stage 2 opens today, 12th March.

Does that mean that I can actually do Stage 2 today too?

Yep! Since every stage has a 50-hour window working which you can do them, there is overlap between stages.

Thank you for the clarification Sir David. I should get it then.

WOW, Sir @David.McQuillen.KoS…EVEN THE GLASSES!

Maybe just an old Descente sweatband to finish the look - you might break space-time back to the '80’s.

Stage 1 done.

Love Cash Register but rather embarrassed that I hadn’t ridden Revolver since feb 2018 :scream_cat: brought back some errr happy(?) memories as the first video I bought and downloaded way back when. Must do it more often before I get my passport revoked.

Love the Tour edit at the end of cash register - great touch.

Looking forward to tomorrows Attack!

Fun stage  but finished with a poignant moment and an old school eye leak . Ah well, onwards…
