Haha! Me!! Then, as I watched Mathieu van der Poel and the other rider grind it out in loose beach sand, I thought “Surely if they can do that, I can do this!” … and I did!
Stylo milo! Lookin good!
Well done this ok.
Cash register not too tough. Revolver was tough though.
Regretting doing ff just before the start
Yeah…lots of folks make that mistake every year. ![]()

I love this! I hope you do one for every stage ![]()
Don’t look great do I ? and I am only 25 !! Ha ha
This was definitely not an easy start to the Tour. I survived. Applied the trick that worked well last time I did Revolver: countdown the intervals is sets of 5 and then adding one for fun.
My tour face after stage 1:
You look good as new!!
Keeping to the greyscale pictures of tour faces, here’s mine
Despite missing the grand depart, it was still a pleasant start to the tour and a very fitting first ride too being Cash Register.

Well, my wife said it’s quite nice outside why dont you go for a spin and I will meet you for coffee. Seemed a good idea at the time. One very nice ride and coffee later I remembered cash register and Revolver had to be done. Oh dear God.
Haha. Welcome to the forums @Thebilliam !
Suffer Suffer Suffer!!
Revolver??? More like Mathew Quigley’s Sharps Rifle!! Shout out to the Australians in the peloton this tour!
Yeah, for the newly-minted Tour-ists, it is somewhat of a tradition for your “post-ride face” to be B&W. In the past, Sir @David.McQuillen.KoS has hosted a contest for best “suffer-face”. In B&W.
No idea if the wahoominati will continue the tradition (
), and don’t feel constrained, but Sir @DarrenWCKam is correct.
WAH wah.
