You’ll just have to catch up by doing the previous tours in reverse order  :smiling_imp:

So glad Dame Kiz set up the Alt Tour. I had a bad crash on my bike a month ago and it’s going to be a long time before I can bend my knee to cycle again. I was massively bummed to miss the ToS but now I don’t have to! Yay! Excited to build my bib!

Hey Sufferlandrians, the tour grand depart is but 11 days away!! Have you got your bib number done and if so have you replaced your profile pic with this awesome bib number? You have to do it so when this feed goes totally bonkers with TOS2022 suffering all we see is TOS2022 bibs.

So make sure you are registered and donated some extra coinage to your Davis Phinney Foundation page as you get DOUBLE PRIZE WINNING ENTRIES before the tour starts.

This is my 10th tour, yep I have started all the tours and finished all but the 2015 TOS due to emergency back surgery. But I did sit in the Nine Hammers Tavern and cheered everyone on.

Get excited, email all the people who know you are a crazy Sufferlandrian so they donate to your craziness and therefore benefit those with PARKINSONS like my sister in law Lynda Lou Stephenson.

SEE YOU AT THE GRAND DEPART!! 🦖

Yeah! Here We Go!

Here we go again. 9th year on the bounce. The design never changes (well with an annual poster update obvs!)

The number remains the same. As does the commitment to the cause.

Peer pressure has convinced me to create my rookie ToS 2022 bib…

The flags and coat of arms are of the countries I am representing in the tour.
The 3.79 is a medical reference - the highest blood calcium levels recorded in 2021 during a blood test in September 2021. This landed me in the ER for a couple of days… This situation was while waiting for a parathyroid surgery to remove two offending parathyroid glands. The surgery was successfully completed in November 2021, and my cycling training and fitness have significantly improved since fixing that medical problem. Hypercalcemia is hard on the heart and cardiovascular system, and my cycling had taken a hard hit because of the condition.

Thanks Glen! After seeing excessively high heart rates while cycling from 2019 to 2021 and not knowing how, a cycling accident in late May 2021 (broken collarbone and cracked rib) May have saved my life. I was diagnosed with severe ypercalcemia while I was at the ER for that accident. I had a post-op appointment yesterday with my haematologist, who mentioned that I ended up being very lucky that it was diagnosed in time.
