I’m horrible at getting food in afterward. Since I’m doing it first thing in the morning, I first jump right in the shower. Then I start making coffee Then I get dressed. Then I help get the kids’ breakfast put together - and put the dishes away. Finally I make my own breakfast and start eating it close to 2 hours after I finished. If I’m smart I at least grab a handful of cereal here and there so I’m not completely starved the entire time.
After stage 3 (i did the current and vintage versions), I didn’t compensate for my extra hour of intensity during the day, so shortly before dinner time I started to feel nauseous. Fortunately, as soon as I started eating dinner that went away and I made up for it with an extra helping of spaghetti.
