My wife often complains about the graphic available from the Wahoo hypertext link within the email
A black line shows ride progress on the map. However if its a circular ride using same route for return, exact location not clearly shown. There’s a circle with human inside away from the line.
Really needs a direction arrow with sharp end of point to identify last reported position.
The grey dashed line is the route you have loaded on the ELEMNT.
If you’re riding without a route you just get the black line.
The icon location is kinda weird, just always off to the side. If you want to see exactly where the person is, you can pinch and zoom the map and you’re where the end of the black line is.
I had a route loaded via Komoot, running navigation. As recipients of Live tracking I included myself. So, when I stopped for a coffee on return, I used the Wahoo email hypertext link.
1.I did pinch zoom but the circle was a long way (about 1 mile) from current location, and nowhere near the route I’d taken. OK, mobile coverage poor, maybe could have zoomed further with good connection.
Outward and return trails were black but the section near the destination (for go/return) was grey dashed. Destination was programmed, as part of circular route.
I sometimes do circular routes with same go/return route. My wife has often commented sent text to enquire where I am on return ride.
I think this could be presented better, arrow on the line or different colour line to overlay return?
