Wifi Issue Wahoo Ace / Wahoo App

Is anyone experiencing a Wifi bug with the Wahoo Ace ? After 3 weeks without any issue, my unit can’t connect/detect to any Wi-Fi network anymore, and the screen is stuck on the ‘Connect to Wi-Fi’ page (auto firmware update). In the Wahoo app, Wi‑Fi networks around me no longer appear—only the spinning wheel shows up. And on the Ace, there’s no Wi‑Fi icon blinking up there at all (only the phone icon).

I’ve tried to reset the unit, unpair phone, restart phone, delete and re-install wahoo app etc… and checked for any issues with my Wifi setup (channel 1 to 9, 2.4ghz…).
I was running firmware “ELEMNT WG32-300745 - 8 January, 2025” earlier this week when it happened.

Do you have any suggestions ? Thanks.

EDIT 24th January : Wahoo eventually offered me an exchange because the unit may have been faulty—or there could have been a software glitch. While turning the device on, I might have accidentally put it in safe mode, which completely disabled the Wi-Fi despite multiple factory resets. Just in case, avoid pressing the “-” button on the right side when the unit is starting up.

you should contact support (they rarely chime in here) while you’re waiting for someone from the community to weigh in:

but, in the meantime, did you make sure to follow these steps when forgetting/unpairing?

Thanks! I’ve already contacted wahoo support a few days ago, but so far, nothing. Yes I followed all these steps regarding Unpairing.
Two things I forgot to mention : my Ace doesn’t show Wifi or GPS logos next to the phone logo, but I still get GPS signal.
The other day, the unit started on Safe Mode and I could read “Error: Start APK Error”. So I turned it off right after.

It is the weekend though so hang in there. Support is usually great at getting things resolved.
