Can you click remove next to your device connections and then add them again from the add devices tab? If that doesn’t work, send us an email at theminions@thesufferfest.com and we will help you connect!
Mine has done this in the past, not lately and there seemed to be no pattern to it. I would just switch using the keyboard between level mode and erg and it would then work fine
Hi ! Also having issues with current version in ERG mode …not sure when they started as I do system update as asked and do not use that much in Jan - March ( ski !! ).
However the last 2 weeks I am trying to increase my FTP. When doing a program, if I adjust the % up (or down :(( ), I frequently lose the connection for the watts . Kind of ruins the workout to be honest. Try to click off and on in settings, :add device: etc and usually just give up at that point. Honestly, I find system VERY glitchy in terms of connections. Depending on the workout I choses, Sometimes I get cadence, sometimes not. I have had the same set up for a few years now with no other electronics anywhere near my trainer or computer, The “old” Sufferfest programs seem the most stable …somewhat frustrating.
No problems. Just updated to the latest version this morning and everything was still fine.
What trainer do you have?
Sometimes disconnecting and re-adding the trainer helps.
Also, one of the most complete fixes is to do a complete uninstall, delete all the remaining leftover files, and then reinstall the software.
Thank you for the feedback. I did a workout yesterday and no issues but did not try and change FTP. I have restarted computer and System. . (also was an “old” sufferfest one which always seem more stable) . Will try changing gain at the end of a workout and see what happens (but given I essentially lose the workout from that point on in terms of FTP info I am reluctant to test. )
