Anyone interested in seeing more of this?

Any chance of an active recovery 35-40 minute Coffee Ride video that is a leisurely cruise along/within touristy sites and scenes?

I get that most want to smash their legs and there is an abundance of workouts for that, SYSTM does a have Filter button for Active Recovery, I dont think you have added to that genre.

There are loads of Active Recovery rides. Many are touristy, although usually a bit more remote than a coffee shop. Are you saying that you don’t see them when you use the Active Recovery filter? You may be overfiltering. Most show up in the inspiration category, but if you go the Cycling and just filter in Active Recovery, you’ll get them all.

@michael.cotty doesn’t do recovery. Some meusli in the gasthaus, and back up the hill.

Sure he does. What about milking sheep and learning about sock making? Just not on the bike—and not for very long.

Hi
I’m not sure how you misread what I wrote.
I know full well where the AR rides are kept and have nearly completed all the Active Recovery rides, along with the Inspiration rides.
My comment was to OP to include a different version of himself via an Active Recovery style ride. Something that he has not done. Hence the reference to adding to this genre within the SYS library.
I hope that clears up any confusion. Not sure how to make it any simpler. :man_shrugging:t3:

He told you that?

Any harm in widening his scope of material?

I assume you are 24/7 at 100% max type rider in every ride you do.
I am not one of those. For some of us who take an easier ride in a structured plan, it would be appealing to have an original Cotty during such moment.

Because it’s there doesn’t mean you have to do it. You can still keep your man card by not backing off. I won’t judge you

+1 to this idea!

Yes of course! Just rode Lac de Cap de Long yesterday. It has become one of my favorites. All of the On Location rides are wonderful. It would be great if you could add a few more longer rides, 90 minutes or so, at sub threshold intensities.

You can find some in the A week with… series.

Yes, they are a really nice escape and perfect for adding variety to the training. Thanks.

Absolutely!! I love the on location rides. I agree with Brent, they are the perfect escape while adding variety to training. And might I add not always an easy ride, love the challenges, history and beautiful scenery. Thank you! Keep them coming.

Always more On Location! I enjoyed every workout of these rides. The footage, information and host makes them so great.

Active recovery.

You know, like Dan Martin and you do on the climb to Arcalis in GAWI.

“What’s all that about?” :joy:

How about we all head over to Mike’s place for a mass ‘on location’ this summer? I’m sure there has to be some stuff that would benefit from face to face beta testing.
