I hope On Location has success because it’s awesome. More workouts with Mike, even with less video production budget, would be amazing. A Gopro, a mic and go. Aerial views and cultural interludes are great but it’s a lot of work, time and money.

Absolutely, posted before a French alps, Italian alps, more Pyrenees and a Dolomites series would be epic.

On location with a live volcano? (Hawaii) Or RGT magic roads with video footage!

RGT with VIDEO footage is what would probably get me to use RGT. I tried it MAYBE twice, just don’t care for CG at all, so I opt for ANYTHING else. Often watch my own GoPro videos of rides I’ve done with the GoPro on a chest mount. When I’m able to follow the same pace, it makes for a cool “next best thing to being there” feel, with the Garmin Edge 830 controlling the KICKR Bike. It’s especially nice when I can use a summertime video in the winter, or vice-versa, to give me a warmer (or cooler) feel to the ride!
Actual video trumps computer graphics every time for me.
