Beta-Alanine and Citrulline Malate

I started using Creatine a while ago now to try to keep what muscle mass I have as an old Croc trying to maintain a good level of fitness. More recently I discovered Beta Alanine so was interested to see these supplements discussed in podcast 58. Something that was not mentioned was whether you need to cycle Beta Alanine or not (ie: weeks on followed by weeks off) some sites say approx 10 -12 weeks on and a similar time off to get the full benefit as it takes ages to get out of your system. Others say take it continually. I have also researched Citrulline Malate which appears to be an effective performance booster if taken an hour or so before a vigorous workout or race. Could one of the coaches care to comment on the cycle aspect of Beta Alanine and the benefits of Citrulline Malate. thanks
