Changing the Navigation Arrow Color on Elemnt ACE and GPX Export

Is it possible (and if so, how) to change the color of the navigation arrow on the Elemnt ACE? Instead of the black arrow, I’d like it to be red so I can see my current position more quickly on the display.

How do I get a GPX file with all the data recorded by the ACE? Currently, as far as I know, I can only share my ride with authorized apps (in my case, Strava and Komoot) or send it via email. However, the email only contains a link to download a FIT file, which is basically useless to me. I also had to manually initiate sharing with Strava and Komoot – shouldn’t it happen automatically (I’ve added the aforementioned third-party apps as authorized)?!

Only Strava offers a GPX file that includes almost all data such as heart rate, cadence, speed, air temperature, altitude, time, etc., except for wind speed… Is this not transmitted by Wahoo, or does Strava deliberately omit it (the Komoot GPX file contains even less data…)?

You can’t change the arrow to red. Is what it is. I would also like this, but hey.

The FIT file has all of that data you get from the Strava GPX, plus stuff that Wahoo records and Strava ignores (electronic shifting data, Wind data from your Ace, etc).

What are you doing with the GPX other than sharing to Strava and Komoot?

Also you can set each authorized service to auto share or not. I have it set to auto share to RideWithGPS, Dropbox, and email, but manual share to Strava, for instance.

Hi and thanks for the reply.

I use GPX data to display the information in a video. I’ve also found an online converter in the meantime.I use GPX data to display the information in a video. I’ve also found an online converter that converts almost all FIT data to GPX… except for the wind data. Perhaps you have software or a link to a converter that also converts wind data to GPX.

OK make an account with intervals.icu, connect it to Wahoo, set it to auto sync.

From there you can download a GPX from desktop or mobile. I honestly haven’t messed with it to know if it has the wind data but I know you can do it.
