I am looking forward to the 2021 Tour of Sufferlandria… but a thought struck me.
In the same was as the TdF has a preparation event of the Criterium du Dauphine, might there be a some merit in having a Criterium du Sufferlandria as a warm up for the main ToS event?
Maybe something held in January over a Thursday to Sunday as a prep?
Just a thought from someone new to Sufferlandria and already seeing some noticable improvements in the last 8 weeks.

It could easily be incorporated into a Tour Prep plan, then promoted as the Crit.
I question your sanity in asking for this, but salute your sufferlandrian spirit!
I think the answer is clear: Kitchen Sink one week (two weeks?) before the main event.

Also looking forward to next years tour of Sufferlandria and think this is a great idea, I’d sign up
