Thank you Jessica, this has been so useful. I have however noticed just this week that “Outdoor” button is grayed out my workouts now on through the Web viewer on Chrome on PC, even though on the android app they have the Outdoor option available… Screenshot showing this on 1 workout, but it’s the same for all.
Is anyone else getting this too? Any ideas for a fix?
Hello,
First thanks for the awesome tool. Just the functionality that I needed.
I am having the same issue with outdoor greyed out on chrome (with the extension installed) but not greyed out with safari.
I don’t have a paid subscription yet, still on trial, that may be the reason? I wouldn’t want to subscribe without being sure I could export these workouts to my edge/forerunner.
I profit to ask it the swim/run workout can also be exported.
Have a great day
Edit: magically works now.
Regarding swim and run if I understood correctly no way to export it correct?
Requires a paid subscription, that was the agreement for Wahoo to allow it to be published. It is cycling only, I have no plans to extend beyond what is currently available.
Thanks jessicat, pretty clear for me. Have a great day and thanks for this awesome tool.
By any chance do you know if Wahoo plans to integrate this functionnality for run/swim workouts?
Hi @jessicat , thanks for putting this together, but I’m having some trouble.
I’ve installed the Chrome extension and can download the .fit files, but it does not seem to recognise the files in Garmin nor Training peaks? It says “No workouts found in this file”.
If I choose a previously completed workout, it then has not issue in uploading?
I havent done this in ages but from what I remember, you have to import it to the Garmin Connect app on your laptop and then from there sync to to your headunit. It doesnt work if you drag it straight into the Android app on your phone. I think the computer app is able to process a wider range of file types than the phone app. I’ll have a go a bit later today tho, as I need to refresh my memory on this.
I don’t have experience with Training Peaks, but you cannot use the Garmin Connect website. You’ll need to copy the workout to your head unit via USB. Any other method to sync, I cannot provide support for.
Thanks for the reply. I had a dodgy lead which was causing my Edge not to show on as a drive on the computer, so I had tried to upload in Garmin Connect and Training Peaks.
I’m very happy to confirm that with a new lead I’ve managed to pop the .fit file onto the Garmin and it’s all recognised and working!
I’m late to the game here, but this is brilliant! Managed it fine once I understood that you need to log-in to SYSTM via the web (not the app) and realized I needed to copy the file directly from my PC to my head unit. Thanks again!
ciao jessicat, grazie per la risposta, io vorrei caricasre gli allenamenti di whaoo sul mio garmin , ma non riesco caricarli da connect, non ho provato direttamente sll’edge, cercavoi di passare da TP . Cosa mi consigli?
buona giornata Fabio
The only way I know definitely works is to connect your Garmin to PC and copy the FIT file into the Workouts or NewFiles (I think it’s called) folders. That’s the only method I’ve personally used.
