GPU Acceleration Disabled or Enabled?

Do the minions have a recommendation on whether GPU Acceleration should be disabled or enabled? I can’t recall what the default is. Running MacBook Air (Intel) and Big Sur 11.2.3

I believe generally you want it enabled and just disable if you get any issues or know that your onboard graphics or graphics card are really not that powerful.

Certainly that’s what I’ve found/understood. Essentially enabling it takes some of the load off your CPU I believe.

Hey Sir @Glen.Coutts, the GPU acceleration option should remain on unless you are a Windows user who is ending up with transparent app windows or other display issues. I don’t think it will make any difference on your Mac.
