When the decision was announced to close the forum to The Company Only posts, I was on the brink myself. However, this reversal of position has brought me back.
Fwiw, @Helga Dame Helgaās stated approach was not unlike that of Sir David in the before times on Facebook and continued when SUF started this forum. Heated discourse was fine. Encouraged even. But being disrespectful, insulting, racist, sexist, misogynistic etc could result in immediate banishment.
Now that The Company appears to be making an honest effort at engaging with the community, hearing our feedback on a closed forum and incorporating at least some of our feedback on the re-remastersā¢ I am personally feeling a lot less deflated.

I am not at all a fan of the lgās or the lg COA at all. At the end of a Sufferfest workout, I turn the volume down and put my head down just so I donāt have to hear that toy gun laser sound or look at it. -During- the workout G.O.A.T the lgās are fineā¦.except at the endā¦.but not anywhere else.

Errrmm noā¦ I am a Sufferlandrian and have never once embraced the Wahooligan thing. It just didnāt sit well with me although hooliganism isnāt something in SEA, but the connotation is rather similar to organised crime as a whole.
To be honest, it started off pretty badly until you stepped inā¦ I think in anycase moving forwards, rather than implementing a change right away, like āBamm! In your faceā perhaps solicit feedback from the community first to gauge the sentiments.

I would really like to see the original COA at the end being restored rather sooner than later as well. The (re)remastering seems to be the perfect opportunity to replace the ending
I really need to apologize, but in my first post in this thread,
immediately after you introduced yourself, I had this horrible mishap. Itās hard to talk about it, so un-knightly really, but I forgot - Iām still horrified just by thinking about it - I really forgot to recognize that youāre a Knight of Sufferlandria, our glorious, mythical nation. GvA was not pleased when he found out. I just returned from flogging station 17b, the worst of them all. I survived to let all residents of our castle know: donāt do as I did, it was even more uncomfortable than anything else that GvA has ever put on me, Fluffy, Laser Goats, even the stupid hamster. I know the uncomfortable have nothing to fear, but it was close.
Donāt you meanā¦stupid laser goats? The hamster is cool!
On another note, I failed in recognizing Helga as āDameā Helga in my initial welcoming comment as well and GvA only sent me flogging station 17. You must really be on his bad sideā¦.What Did You Do? Comfortable in your fear?
Since this announcement from Dame @Helga I have been thinking long and hard about whether or not to resubscribe. I am encouraged by the change of heart on the forum, that wahoo are now listening. I still think there is work to do to get some of the workouts back on par with their former standard, and hope that will be done, given the extensive feedback that has been provided.
Iāve been using zwift of late and whilst the racing is fun, the rest is a bit dull and Iām not convinced by their training plan offerings.
All that considered I have decided to resubscribe and give it another chance, after all you can never leave! SUF day is in the diary, bring the agony.
