Kickr Core 2 - Zwift controller integration into Bridge

Does anyone know a date for when we can expect the Bridge functionalty of the Core 2 to include the Zwift Ride controllers as part of the functionality?

The website still says coming soon, but there hasn’t been any firm date - that I can find.

Otherwise I am loving the Core 2 and WiFi connection.

Thanks,

M

@Rupert or @Helga Do you have any sharable info here?

Is there any update? Light at the end of the tunnel? Will it ever be available?

I know it isn’t the most important thing - but it would be nice to have some engagement from Wahoo on this?

Thanks,

M

I can’t say anything yet, but there will be an announcement about this soon.

Wow - within the hour:

KICKR CORE 2 Firmware 2.5.4 / 3.5.4, WiFi 1.3.28 - 6 January 2026

  • Updated: KICKR Bridge will now bridge Zwift Click v2 or Zwift Ride handlebars in addition to a heart rate monitor.

    • Helpful for users on devices running the Zwift game with poor Bluetooth connectivity or limited Bluetooth channels.

    • Compatible controllers and heart rate monitors are configured through the Zwift game pairing screen only.

      • Requires trainer firmware update and Zwift game version 1.104 or higher

      • Successfully bridged controllers/shifters will display with a trainer icon on the Zwift pairing screen, much like a successfully bridged heart rate monitor

      • Zwift Click v1 and Play controllers are not supported

      • For more details, see How to use the KICKR Bridge.

And it works perfectly! Just need to unpair from Bluetooth when you first start Zwift after bridging through the Wahoo app.

Thank you Wahoo – great result!

My apologizes if this has been stated elsewhere but is there a plan for Zwift Play controllers to eventually be supported by Kickr Bridge as well?
