Kickr Core Thru Axle Adapter Installation

Probably a really dumb question…but I’ve had a QR bike on my Kickr core the past few years. I recently bought the zwift ride frame for my trainer, and was trying to install the thru axle adapters onto my trainer, but nothing seems to fit on the drive side? All the adapters seem to be the exact same size as what’s in the picture below. What am I doing wrong?

if you’re installing the Zwift Ride, you’ll need the Zwift Cog. Do you have that? You should have one without the free hub since you already have one on your trainer.

Yeah I have the zwift cog, the original problem was that I got everything set up then realized I needed the thru axle adapters for it to sit properly.

So I got the adapters but can’t figure out the drive side adapter

There are two adapters in the package on the CORE. You might need the second and longer adapter. You should have the right freehub of you had a 11 speed cassette installed.
You are missing the end cap as well. It’s a piece with groves on the end that faces towards the frame. It fits between the freehub retention but (which you do have installed) and the frame.

Not sure if this helps - hub connecting my Zwift ride to kickr…

you don’t show any pics of what adapters you are using and depending on when you got your Core, you might need updated ones that wahoo put out a few years ago. You might have a spacer in there that needs to be removed and the free hub lock nut on there might also need to be replaced.

Rather than guessing wildly, I’d suggest your best bet, and most direct, is to contact Support where they can walk you through your particular set up, review exactly what you’ve got and let you know exactly what you’ll need.

There’s also an excellent video on setting up KICKR hardware on the Wahoo web site. It’s way less confusing than us out here trying to explain it to you.
