It‘s indeed an important point that politics aren’t discussed here. There are enough other places to do that. Let’s continue to focus on enterpainment in this forum. Let’s hope wahoo reconsiders the new rules.

@WahooMikeG would you give me an update on my request please? And, have you seen what’s happening here and do the powers that be know how we feel?
I agree but if I’m given the opportunity to express my opinion on it, I’m going to ![]()
@Anne I would venture to say…yes, they have and I’m sure they do….but since it’s now been over a week since the door was closed on us and it’s still closed, I would say that this is how “the powers to be” feel about it….![]()
I don’t know what else to think about it.
FWIW, if you reach out to Eric on the Zwift club, he can make you an admin so you can create and add club rides…
@CPT_A Thank you very much Sir for your help! This is most kind and appreciated!
Hi all, ![]()
We heard you! Go see my new post to learn all about the changes and who I am.
Thank you Helga!
I may do so too; I intend to do most of my training on Zwift this winter season, and would like to help with group rides.
This entire escapade is a case study in enshittification, as coined by author Cory Doctorow. It’s my sincerest hope that the retraction of the new forum restrictions and Helga’s participation can halt this process so both the Wahoo community and brand remain viable and valued.

(My apologies if someone pointed this out already, but I was losing steam after wading though half the replies.)
Me too, I’m out, haven’t renewed my subscription. I will forever be a Sufferlandrian, and will wear my knights jersey with pride until it is threadbare and as broken as me. But the reason I loved Sufferfest has gone…

Hello @Helga and welcome! I think you jumped into the messiness just in time. Hopefully you’ll help us all start to turn this “battleship” of commentary in a positive direction. I believe you have the right spirit and that you know communication is a two-way street with respect for others points of view. I also believe that we Sufferlandrians are strong enough to take the bad tasting medicine if you help us with the reasons some of our cultural/favorite elements have to be removed or changed. Similarly, perhaps the company can give additional thought and weight to “how will this make Sufferlandrians feel?” before making changes that are elective. Maybe the long-term customers don’t matter as much as we think we do, but the platform kind of exists because we spent our money on it for years and years.
@WahooMikeG What absolute Trumpian corporate tripe.
I along with all the others here are choosing to pay their hard earned money on subscriptions that helps pay your (and your hopefully soon to be recruited or appointed ‘team’) their wages.
In my day job I run a very successful specialist publisher. The most loyal and valuable are often the most voluble!
For heaven’s sake, listen to your most loyal and most valuable audience.
Have the guts to take these responses back to your boss/es and argue this policy needs to be reversed.
if not this will become just another cancelled sub, after the thick end of 15 years.
Hey @MeridianJ They’ve heard our cries. Read here:
