So, this was supposed to be the view at work yesterday morning (first pic) for my first outdoor ride of 2025 yesterday afternoon. Temps were going to be around 70 degrees with clouds and sun. The ride wasn’t going to be all that long but the planned route did include two significant climbs and an “uphill drag” so, it wasn’t going to be an easy ride either. But alas, the universe had other plans that instead landed me in the ER yesterday morning with a jacked up back and pain that I’ve never experienced before

……back to the drawing board.

Right!? All these days of bad weather so far in 2025 and then the one day that it’s going to be very nice and I make plans to ride outdoors……I was not amused at all!
