Been doing base rides for last 3 months after end of race season was cancelled (covid) And looking to start building up fitness for hopefully Nov-Dec racing which consist 70km-130km slightly hilly courses.
Would i be better to go in the all purpose road catergory or tempo block phase and build up through ftp / map etc
Hey Truman – the all-purpose road category is a great plan. If you do Full Frontal right before you apply it to your calendar, the app will make sure it’s designed in a way to get you the best results possible.
Just be sure you launch the videos from the calendar! If you just download the video and play it from the main menu, the targets won’t be scale with respect to your plan/rider type/etc. I learned that one the hard way!
I have been doing the general road plan for almost all of the 18 months spent in Suff. I am now working through the building blocks, as Truman suggested, just to add a bit of variety and mental freshness to the scene
