Anyone used or is using the Pillar training app. Looks pretty cool with workouts and plans using AI to monitor your training/progress altering your workouts to account for missed days/workouts, improvements or reductions in your fitness etc to ensure you get the correct workout levels/stress relative to your fitness at the time and to your specific goals
@ozmadman I haven’t tried Pillar but I have used JOIN and do like the concept.
JOIN just uses algorithms - the founder said he started with a spreadsheet. It works well for situations where you miss or have to reschedule workouts due to travel or other reasons. You can also enter your training readiness and set days of the week that you are available to train.
They have their own workout library that can be sent to a bike computer or to Training Peaks but I find that I can also match many of the workouts in the SYSTM library to the planned JOIN workouts.
I think a similar concept would be interesting if paired specifically with apps like SYSTM to deal with situations where you miss a workout or just decide to do something else like a group ride.
Xert is another one that has AI planning etc. I use it and mostly like it. Haven’t tried Pillar.
