Sufferfest training plans should allow the cyclist to choose whether they want a 2 week hard training, one week recovery cycle, or a 3 week hard training, one week recovery cycle.
Some plans currently allow this, but many do not.
There has been some discussion on the forum about the need for this flexibility. Many aging athletes need this, and some younger athletes may need it depending on their recovery abilities and/or life commitments. So let us measure the actual level of interest.
Whenever I have done a full plan I get into overtraining issues, apparently I need more rest/recovery. I would like a plan where I ride hard every other day and have rest/recovery days in between.
This is currently what I am doing, I might get a custom plan next month we will see.
