Ive been following this thread for a while cos i have the same issue. Crossing my fingers that it will work… but its just … disappointing…
Got the latest update 1.56.34 … but still not working.
I have a problems that I can’t load/select Planned Workout on my Elemnt Companion app.
And there is no Planned Workout appear in my Elemnt Rival watch

What you can do, is remove the Elemnt app and reinstall it on your phone. In another thread I saw similar problems and after reinstalling the app, it worked. Don’t forget to remove the old Rival bluetooth connection first before pairing your Rival again when you reinstalled the app.
Another thing is that you can have a broken connection with Trainingpeaks.
Check: Wahoo Fitness | Log In and look if there are strange/broken connections. You can revoke the connections and try to reconnect from Wahoo and/or other platforms.
