Power fluctuates

I have my beater road bike on my Wahoo Kikr Snap. Suddenly (as in within a week) my power has started fluctuating wildly, my average/baseline power numbers are way off my previous numbers, my avatar stops pedaling when I’m still pedaling, etc. If I take even the slightest pressure off the pedals (even at a high cadence)my watts plummet. Connection issue? The trainer seems to work correctly in erg mode. Or could the loose chain and old, worn down cassette be causing tiny variations in the resistance on the flywheel?

@Melody_Brumble For a wheel on trainer you need to be consistent with your tire pressure - checking before each ride. Also the tire connection to the trainer needs to be the same. I never had a Snap but the CycleOps trainer has a dial that clicked when the correct force was applied to the trainer.

That is possible. Definitely take care of your drive train whether riding indoors or outside.

If you think it might be something else reach out to Wahoo support.
