Road race training plan

Hi. I can see cycling plans for a criterium or a grand fondo, but can’t see anything for a standard 40-60 mile road race. Am I missing something?

The metric gran fondo/century plan = 100km = roughly 60miles.


I did the metric century plan. Good hybrid mid distance.

Thanks. Guess my thoughts were that the demands of a road race are much different to the more steady effort for a Grand Fondo or century. If I were training for a century or a fondo I would be focussed mainly on building up zone 2/3 type work, with some climbing. That put me off those plans.

Would a plan for virtual or crit racing suit your needs better? Looking at the content of those, that’s pretty full on.
