Roam 3 issues I cant resolve

Hi All
New here, I have purchased a New Roam Version 3 and having the following issues:

1 - Notifications like email, WhatsApp not being displayed on the unit when connected to the phone. I have done the full troubleshoot online, re-pairing, notifications allowed etc and nothing. Yet on a seperate Garmin 840 with same settings on phone etc it works.

2 - GPS - pretty intermittent and and loses connection and then doesnt connect again if for example I go through a tunnel or at random. have to turn the unit off, allow it to search and then connect.

Any ideas?

Just to be sure, are you using the latest firmware for the Wahoo App as well as your ROAM3?

thanks for the reply. Yes I have the latest on both. I even did a factory reset on the R3 and deleted the Wahoo app and re-installed. Both have latest so I will send support.

Are you using an Android phone or an iPhone? Have you double checked that all the correct permissions are in place.

I had this fail on me in the past, turned out the permissions had been removed for some reason. Reinstating them fixed it. (altough I’m talking about the Elemnt App rather than the Wahoo App)

Does anyone know why support stops replying to your ticket? I got asked some questions then I reply and now been ghosted?

Sorry, can’t help you there. I don’t work for ‘em and my experience has always been great. I know they’re busy but 5 days seems a long time between responses.

Please do keep us posted here when you get your issue resolved.

I pinged out head of the bike computer support team to help out here, hopefully they’ll get back to you soon. Sorry for the delay, new bike computer release and people starting to ride outside has definitely overloaded that team.
