Roam 3 WiFi connections

I’m sure I read a recent post where it was claimed WiFi connectivity is 2.4GHz only.

In reply to another thread I forced Roam 3 to connect to my home WiFi whilst monitoring APs on UniFi network App.

I forced Roam 3 to connect from Settings menu by triggering ‘Check for updates’..

UniFi client log recorded a brief connect and disconnect from MAC address b4:6f:2d:??:??:??

This general MAC is assigned to Wahoo Fitness, the ?? are unique for product and serial number.

I can confirm that Roam 3 connected channel 48 (5GHz), 80MHz.

The Gen 1/2 were definitely 2.4 only. Gen 3 does 5ghz but I find it’s more reliable connecting to my 2.4 network.

Very well could be my network causing the issue, not the ELEMNT, but I noted it in case others have similar issues.
