Roam V2 not connecting to WiFi

Good day Guys
Just received my Roam 2 weeks ago and I am not able to connect it to my Wifi.
Router is broadcasting 2.4ghz, iPhone connected to 2.4.
I managed with difficulties to connect the Phone app to 2.4ghz but the Wifi logo on the Roam keeps flashing.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Stef

I have the same problem. It’s pretty common. The wifi receiver seems to be very picky - maybe low quality. I’ve read it only takes certain bands but nothing works for me either.

I just got it today. Charged it for 4 hours (it was already fully charged) but the battery falls to about 80% in 2 hours. Looks like they sent me a bum device.

Going to RMA it back. Def not worth the price. Curious to know if you got it to work and how.

@Sidster @stephane Try these instructions and if you are still having issues try reaching out to support.

Thank you. I’ve seen those and spent several hours getting a feel of what other users were doing. The computers wifi receiver is of poor quality I suspect.

At some point iny troubleshooting, I killed the app on my phone and reduced the encryption on my wifi to wpa only. That allowed the computer to connect and download up firmware.

After reboot, it locked up. Pressed the left side and first buttons which triggered some type of reset. Still not sure how stable this will be.

The battery is the next test. It’s dropping to 89 percent in 2 hours

Nothing impressive yet for the price.

It works perfectly now.
Roam works on 2ghz wifi.

@Sidster That seems normal. I usually can get a 7 hour ride and still have about 40 to 45% battery left.

I haven’t experienced any issues with WiFi connection in the 2 or 3 years I have had my Roam so wonder if you have an issue there with either the unit or WiFi configuration.

Definitely contact support.
