I discovered that if I change the audible alert (On/Mute/Off) during a ride, my Roam v2 reboots and displays it’s recovering the ride. If I’m also following a route, I have to reload the route as that’s ended during the reboot. This is happening with a Magene L508 and a Coospo TR70 radars. This behavior isn’t something I’ve seen before, so I imagine it’s a bug introduced in a recent update. I’m curious if this also happens with Garmin or Wahoo radars. You have to have a ride started for the reboot to happen.
I have the exact same problem since a few months now. I unfortunately do not think we can expect a fix from Wahoo…

Yep, really annoying when swapping between a cycle path beside busy road and bike lane on road. Roam V2 with Garmin Varia RCT715.
That would be really frustrating, especially if the reboot ends the route and you have to reload everything during a ride. It’s interesting that the issue seems to happen with different radar brands, including the Garmin Varia RCT715. Hopefully Wahoo can identify what’s triggering the reboot in a future firmware update.
