I have the KICKR BIKE SHIFT. Today, the left shifter stopped working properly. I can go up but not down. When the gears first started displaying on Zwift a few days ago, I could see for example 1-5 or 2-7.
Now I only see 5 and I can’t go down. When the problem started today, I could still do say a 2-7 but now even that’s gone. I am seeing others say it might be a cable connection issue and Wahoo will have to replace the handlebar?
We have a October company contest on cycling and walking that ends tomorrow and I will certainly win the cycling but I have to do 2 X 25K tomorrow
for specific things like this you’re really best served by reaching out directly to wahoo support, they very rarely check in here in the public forums:
Second please open the Wahoo App and check your gearing profile configuration to make sure it is set correctly. Then also check the gearing display in the Wahoo App, you can see current gear on the KICKR BIKE SHIFT sensor details page, or if running the Wahoo App workout recorder.
If the gears do not change in the Wahoo App reach out to customer support.
Thanks, how do you power cycle, just turn off for 30 seconds and then turn back on? This morning, the gears showed properly, 1-5, but the left shifting did not work. I did get a reply from Wahoo Support to check the cable connection in the Hub, I did move the bars up, so that may have affected the connection.
@Cervelovan power cycle, yes unplug power for at least 10 seconds.
They may go through a few more trouble shooting steps then swap the bar assembly out.
Ok, this is weird but I figured it out. Somehow my gear profile on the Wahoo app had changed. Once Ibset it to SRAM eTap and the gearing I wa t, it works fine. Thanks all
