SIMPLY app for kickr

Can anyone help me? I would like to use my computer and ANT+ stick to control my Kickr with some simple program. What software do I need to get these to talk to each other? (BTW I have Zwift but cannot afford to continue the subscription and pretty much don’t use 90% of what Zwift has. I just want a simple control program. I am currently using the free kickr app to manually run my kickr.)

This one is browser based. I’ve used it a few times for testing. You can do a number of basic inbuilt workouts, import your own, or simply adjust as you ride.

It appears to have experimental support for ANT+ so I’m not sure how well that works but might be worth a shot.

I like Zwift but it doesn’t give me the value for 20€/month as all year round platform. I might splurge for an occassional month to hang out with fellow Sufferlandrians in group rides.

Take a look at GTBikeV - mod for GTAV, I’m not kidding. It supports ant+ and bluetooth, has pre-set courses, bots, sometimes real players join.

Supports zwift play controllers, gaming controllers, you can upload custom workouts, and it’s completely free (if we don’t count cost of the game which is $14.99 on Steam atm) and when you get bored you can shoot stuff around from the bike. :smiling_face_with_sunglasses:

Thanks, that looks interesting… Just gotta figure out how to use it.

Owen, or anyone, IS there some sorta MANUAL/Instructions for this Auuki app? I can’t seem to get it to do anything on my Desktop. I did get it to pair up on a tablet. BUT I would really like to use it on a desktop that I ran Zwift on with an Ant+ usb stick on. THANKS!

There are a few instructions linked in the manual section of the GitHub page here:

Although according to this issue, Ant+ isn’t supported

I just finished my first ride with the Auuki web site. Very nice. I had to get a bluetooth usb adaptor, but once installed everything worked great. Now I need to figure out how to set up some workouts. I am not familiar with GitHub or the webpage “program”(?) but is there a way to SAVE this locally so I don’t have to be online? I am a little concerned this webpage might “disappear”. I had that happen to another simple program I was using a few years back (maxtrainer, I think was the name). I would hate to loose this one too.

Any way, THANKS for the link!!!

If you click the workouts button bottom right, you’ll see a library of 17 inbuilt workouts, and you can import your own with the “choose files” button at the bottom. These can be .zwo files which can be created & exported from sites such as zwofactory.com or zwiftworkout.com.

There are some already created in the templates page at zwofactory.com - Templates, if you wanted to try some of those out. Just select a group from the drop down menu and hit the download button for the workout you want to do.

Once you select a workout from the list in Auuki, you can then click the Home button at the bottom and you’ll see that workout profile in the main workout window, ready to be ridden :+1:

Re your other question, I think it works offline if you need it to, but it’s not a downloadable app that can be installed locally. It just runs in your browser as it is.

Thanks…
