Subs prices different in iOS and Android?

Just noticed this… 2 separate subscription fees for Android and iOS for Australian users?!

You pay the Apple tax if your subscribe using your Apple account. Cheaper to create your account/subscribe on web app and then sign in on your Apple device.

How do I switch from an Apple subscription to a SYSTM Web subscription?
