SUF Science

Perhaps a lot of you wondered why I abandoned this year’s Tour half way through, but I had good reasons to do so. I represented our Glorious Nation at a major conference on health in sports, knowing there would be a strong focus on SUF Science.

GvA did his best to provide appropriate weather conditions,

comfortable seating,

some smaller climbs for recreational purposes,

and, of course, a bookshelf.

Among other things, we learned about the necessity of pain

and how to detect Couchlandrian Tendencies.

Overall, the conference was a great success,

even though some of the presenters might have thought otherwise.

Excellent reason to leave the Tour. But how did you avoid Fluffy? She can smell donut breath for miles.

don’t worry, it’s only a slide shown in a presentation. probably to make sure it wouldn’t be too tempting for other attendees since afaik I was the only Sufferlandrian there

I think Fluffy was a guest of honor at the conference… they kept him fed with interns to keep him quiet.
