Completed my 2 rides for the day. Who Dares (ruin our beloved Sufferfest videos) and Hell Hath No Fury (as a Sufferlandrian scorned by them ruining our Sufferfest videos) .

Is there a way to travel backwards in time to watch the February 27 Stage 5A and 5B Zoom ride with Alex and Davis? I was too busy eating doughnuts to concentrate on the video of all the other riders. Not much outside riding happening yet in Illinois. Our weather is making me SUFFER! 40 Degrees Fahrenheit, drizzle and high winds is not appealing riding weather.

That was rough. Legs felt fine when I woke up, but once I hopped on the trainer they suddenly realized how much they had been abused last week.

To quote the finally recovery:
“The hurt is supposed to hurt.”

It definitely hurt.

Today was my first weekday double session. Had a hard time falling asleep last night, and had to wake up early, so it was a rough morning to say the least. I was not ready for my alarm. :police_car_light:

I haven’t ridden The Trick in quite a while. Last time was part of my 4th KOS.



Then I rode the remastered Do As You’re Told. Which all things considered is actually not that bad. If the remastered Who Dares and Thin Air had left in THIS much SUF content, we would not be complaining (as much). I actually enjoyed it. Most of the new footage is very good. Only a couple minor quibbles. And most of the SUF content was left in. So, if anyone from Wahoo is still paying attention, this is my sincerest constructive criticism. Take this advise and add some of the SUF content back to the other remasters. Please? :folded_hands:

I did The Chores - even tho I was told long ago by GvA that I never had to do them again. Then had some serious Omnium flashbacks from last year.



I am very glad tomorrow is a rest day because my legs are… :fire::fire::fire:

I am following, and trying to think of some coherent reply…
I can’t hardly fathom that you are doing all of these workouts. Then to add in work etc on top of them.
Then to take screenshots at the same time?! Seriously, I can’t be jealous because I’m too awestruck.

Some of the screenshots are previously used (tho I am trying to get new ones to mix things up). Others are taken after the workout has been completed. It’s extremely difficult to take decent pictures and screenshots while riding - especially at 100%. So, I do take some shortcuts there. :grin:

It can be quite hard, tho, to see a good image while riding hard and then manage to remember where in the video it was once I’m done and showered, tho. The mind does tend to be a * bit * foggy while riding SUF videos. :wink:

I was NOT looking forward to today. I spent most of yesterday hobbling around with DOMS like an old man in search of his cane.

Thank goodness I had a rest day, yesterday. But dear, GvA, today was WRETCHED


The Wretched is my KOS nemesis workout because it destroyed my knee during my first KOS and had me recovering for 3 months. When I did my 4th KOS I did all the same videos as my first. And tho I kept my knees intact, that series of videos from 6-8 beginning with The Wretched still haunted me and put me into some serious hurt.





So it should come as no surprise that The Wretched is one of my least ridden workouts. I’m surprised that before today I had actually ridden in 7 times. But 3 of those times were in 2020. Then I rode in just once per year since then. And hadn’t ridden it again since my 4th KOS attempt back in August of 2023. As I rode it I had a few realizations of, “ohhhh…. so THIS video is where THAT screen shot is from.” It’s been so long. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:


I rode. I suffered. I hope I’m actually improving my fitness.

And I hope I survive tomorrow.

Had to make a change of plans this morning. Family plans meant I had to be ready to leave by 8:30am and didn’t have enough time for both of my planned videos.

So I rode only AVDP today.

To make up for it i will give up tomorrow’s rest day to ride Blender.

But the good news is… because I only ride one each day, I can ride them at higher intensity! Yay! :face_without_mouth:


So, no rest day before Violator. That will be… interesting. :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

So due to yesterday being, well… yesterday, instead of a Rest Day today I did Blender. And of course I did it at :100:%. Because… why not.


This was a long day at 100% and I could feel my lack of endurance. And the long intervals and short rest breaks sure didn’t help. But I powered through.

I made it past Blender today, but… Violator tomorrow is going to be… well… Violator on legs that are far FAR from fresh.
