I have to laugh at myself here, because I fully intended to ride 1 today and 2 tomorrow and just make the excuse that my son was sick and it was all too much to do at once. I literally made the decision to ride all 3 in one go while writing these sentences.
That was not hyperbole or dramatization or deliberate embellishment. That thinking emoji was 100% me thinking about it there and then. I actually made the decision as I was typing. 
I said to myself “Wait, can I really not ride them all tomorrow? And if I do I still get a rest day on Thursday… What would Sir @Glen.Coutts say?” And suddenly the decision was made.
I only needed to wake up at 3:30am to make the final decision. Tho really, unless my leg was completely locked up there was no way I wasn’t going to do it at that point. I was fully committed.
And now maybe I should be committed.
Honestly, maybe I’m subconsciously making up for some kind of perceived deficiency of childhood suffering. Or compensating for my inability to do anything for my dad other than suffer along side him. Either that or I’m truly sliding into insanity. Maybe it’s my escape from reality. I don’t know. If you can figure it out let me know. Or, just enjoy the ride while it lasts.
