I have a LOT more screenshots.
SO MANY SCREENSHOTS
I forgot about marginal pains
Golden!
Sir Evan, vaultkeeper of the history of Agonia through screenshots?
Way to keep rocking this!!!
I think yours should say *more than more to the power of 30".
Just looked at my calendar to remind myself what floggings I had in store for Monday morning.
I wish I hadn’t.
This is the scene that got me hooked on Sufferfest workouts…the unexpected snort of laughter was nearly as painful as the prior interval.
Thank goodness for yesterday’s rest day or I may never have made it through today. At least not at any reasonable intensity. But the light is there at the end of the tunnel. Is that Angels? Or have I flatlined?
My legs felt flat until I got past the under/overs. Then they seemed to revive.
The end of the 2nd and beginning of the 3rd climb are always brutal. But the suffering is also glorious.
And then came Revolver…. Always brutal at any intensity. It’s broken me many times. But isn’t that the primary purpose of Revolver?
I tried to just keep spinning as fast a cadence as I was able to hold. And then I somehow made it through yet another double-session sufferfest.
28 done.
3 to go!
I read you say in Sir @Justin_Litun’s thread that a vEveresting is daunting to you but here you are, a serial Kinnnigggit, doing GvApril!!! Not to mention all the other shenanigans you’ve gotten up to not the least of which was Defender Month.

If anyone deserves some adulation, it’s YOU, Sir.
There’s a huge difference between riding 31 hours across 21 days or riding 10-11 hours in one day and riding potentially 20+hours in a single day (or more) which is near what it would take me at the moment to do a vEveresting. And lonnnng stretches of uphill, unlike the short bursts and recovery in many of the SUF videos. Just a whole different animal in my view.
Like rising Cobbler back-to-back 10 times.
It’s on my list of things to try, tho! Just going to take a whole lot more training and planning….
Nah. You’re ready. Remember, the suffering of a virtual Everesting is over in one day. You can take as many breaks as you need or want and find a pace that’s sustainable. The suffering you’re enduring in GvApril (and your other crazy things) is a special kind of special. I mean, you’re not even getting a sticker or a badge or a decal or your name in a HoF. You have to find some sustained WHY well beyond my capacity. You, Sir, are One.Of.A.Kind.
Seconded. Just, wow! ![]()
Only three left! Two more days!!
You are basically on the the victory lap!
Can you take more than 24 hours? At this point I think it would take me more than that long to finish… ![]()
If I had to ride for that long, I don’t know which would kill me first. The riding or my wife. ![]()
This. Every day.

There is no time limit. You can take as long as it takes to finish. The only rule there is that you are not allowed to sleep but can take as many breaks as you need to take. My 1st vEverest (using AdZ) had an elapsed time of nearly 20 hours and a moving time of about 16.5.
My only irl attempt, a half Everesting they call a Basecamp, was a local dump, 300 reps. Elapsed time was nearly 26.5 hrs with moving time at about 19ish.
Welp…
Last night as I was about to get to bed at a reasonable time, my son said he was feeling queasy. He has issues digesting sugar, so it often makes him feel nauseous and often puke if he has too many sweets during the day, especially after dinner. And then the anxiety of expecting to throw up exacerbates the feeling.
So I gave him some almonds and warm milk and let him sleep in the living room with me (my wife has the bed to herself while she’s recovering from knee surgery with lots of pillows and tossing and turning). Plus, today was field day and a big day of fun for the kids and he needed as much sleep as possible. That meant I wasn’t going to be able to wake up early to ride since my pain cave is right next to the living room and I couldn’t get up early to ride without waking him.
Fortunately he slept thru the night and had lots of fun, today.
But… I had to skip this morning’s ride.
That means I’ll have to extend this into May 1st because there’s no way I can ride all 3 remaining videos tomorrow.
Or is there… ![]()
Well… i ran the obstacle course at my kids’ field day today. Which means I essentially ran along side every single kid as they did the course. So… almost 50 times (and a number of them did it more than once). My left legs is very cranky and tight right now. So, maybe not. But… never say never….
Did anyone call Gerry? ![]()
Welp, it’s decision time.
I woke up at 3:25am to see how I felt. Decided to just go for it and knock out the last thee today. So…
IN PROGRESS
The Model
29 done.
2 to go.
Any of these 3 would make a great end to this or any SUF challenge or knighthood. Definitely are all keeping me focused.
Defender
30 done.
1 to go.
Amazingly, I’ve found a bunch more Defender screenshots I need to grab. How in the name of GvA is that even possible?
Time for…
Violator![]()
Annnnnnd….
Violator is completed!
At 100%, of course. Very violating. Especially the beginning of the last set. Just relentless suffering every 5 seconds.
ALL DONE

31 done.
No more!!
LEGEND!
FREAKIN’ FENOMENAL! Way to go, Sir @emacdoug! I’ve managed a small handful of indoor rides in April and only one SYSTM vid, NPLH. ![]()
