Wahoo August Challenge: Vertical Calibration
In professional cycling, August is often a period of “altitude camps” as riders prepare for the season’s final objectives. This month, we aren’t chasing the “red line” of explosive sprints; we are widening the base of your engine.
This vertical calibration is designed to mimic a high-altitude training block. By focusing on MAP (Max Aerobic Power) and FTP (Functional Threshold Power), you will develop the “Diesel” power needed to handle relentless alpine gradients without breaking your form.
